| Emily represented the best of America's youth and of the long gray line of Academy graduates who have put service to the nation and others ahead of personal safety and comfort. As we mourn her passing, we must also celebrate her character and her achievements. To her parents, I send my deepest condolences and my sincerest thanks for her selfless service. May God bless Emily's soul, and may He bless her familiy and friends with peace in their hour of need. |
