| Emily, words can not describe the utter shock I felt when I heard the news of your passing. I'll always remember you as Yolanda's room mate and an amazing friend to her. We certainly had our differences at times but I want you to know that I, like everyone else, greatly admired you for so many reasons. As a frequent visitor to G3 over the years, I discovered there was a lot more to you than your spitfire personality. You were a driven, intelligent, extremely talented, dedicated, and compassionate woman. Your faith in God impressed me deeply. And who could forget the way you would make plebes cower in your presence! Emily, despite everything, I am honored to say that I have known you and that I have seen the incredible mark you left on the world and the people you touched. Well done, be thou at peace. |
