Many people will remember you for your ability to motivate and lead the people around you. I remember you doing that as a Cadet, and I am sure your soldiers will remember you the same way. However, while your personal courage and toughness made you such an inspirational leader, I will chose to remember you as you were after work was over. I will chose to remember the person who's personality and brilliant smile made me laugh and feel better about myself, and the world around me. I will chose to remember those times because they are the times which made me think of you as a friend. Rest in peace and keep smiling with the knowledge that the impressions you made on the people and the world around you will last forever. |
