| Ben was my platoon sergeant when I was a firstie. He and I spent a lot of time together and I felt like I knew him really well. I'll never forget when I made him write cadet evaluations for all of the people in the platoon and he was pissed because he thought I was making him do my job. He did a great job then and his passing is a loss to me personally. I was really looking forward to running into him again. He will be missed. |
