Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Tim Krueger on September 20, 2006:

Vinny,
The last time I spoke with you was graduation day. We had roomed together for a year, spliced phone lines to talk to our girls, and bought engagement rings for them together. You were one of my best friends in the world and we never spoke again. Life got in the way, as it always seems to do. I had just gotten your phone number from a friend who saw you at an Academy thing, and I never got the chance to call. I was driving from Philly to Syracuse when I got the phone call that you had passed away, and I had to pull over on I-81. I think of you everytime I look at my wife's ring finger, or see a neck machine at the club. I think of all the times I should have called, and wish for just one of them back. I miss you Vin Vin.
"May God hold you in the hollow of his hand."
