Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Carol Ambrose on September 21, 2006:

To Emily's family and loved ones, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I only knew Emily for a short time, while I was a firstie and she a yearling at school. Emily was on our pioneer dance team -- the IgKNIGHHTors -- and she would get up in the wee hours of the morning to dance in the barracks basements for an hour before she started the rest of her day, which was filled to capacity. Immediately recognizable to anyone around Emily was her strong will and solid character. If she stood for anything, she stood firm. Reading over these eulogies, I wish I could have known her better. I also wish I could share a special memory with her family to give them just one more glimpse into the life of their daughter while she was away from home. I empathize with you and will pray that one day you will see your beloved again.

Emily, rest in peace.
