Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Samantha Breton on September 25, 2006:

Dear Emily,

Words fail at a time like this - and you know I'm never at a lack for words!

As I ponder the time that we were privileged to spend together as we talked about Human Development, Love, Counseling and LIFE in general, I am reminded of your intense passion to understand everything you could to go out and be a great leader.

Looking at the heart felt notes from your adoring fans, clearly you have accomplished that mission! I could not be prouder of you, although amazingly pained that your earthly mission has ended.

Life never makes sense and all the times we spent sorting through that ring so loudly for me now, but as was reiterated time and again at the beautiful service in your hometown on Saturday - your life on this earth was lived loudly in every regard and to the ultimate Glory of your Creator - and I am so thankful for the short moments in time that we shared.

As we lay your human frame to rest tomorrow - the comfort in knowing that you are in the Presence of the ALMIGHTY will give cause for celebration of a life well and faithfully lived in the Service of your Passion for God and Country.

To your beautiful family, may the period of mourning for your sweet angel be sprinkled with the strength and grace that only God's Love can provide and the prayers of Emily's friends around the world.
