Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Tracy Smith on October 19, 2006:

I never did know this bright star while she was alive, but after receiving this email, I wanted to let her family know that from what has been written about this remarkable, young sister of God, I am truly sorry for her family. Even though my Father in Heaven tells me that she is with Him in His Heavenly Kingdom and all is well with her, I just wanted to let her family know that I am raising two, young daughters (ages 11 and 14), and I can just imagine their sorrow.

Emily Perez was an example for all women, but she sounds exactly what I am praying daily for my daughters to become, an example of beauty, courage, strength, brilliance, and love. I am a choir director for my church here in Fairbanks, Alaska (St. John Baptist Church)and I dream of the day when one of my daughters will decide to step out on their faith for My Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and become a blessing for His music ministry. I will continue to pray for your family and church family, but I would like to remind everyone:

"Angels were created to reside in Heaven with the Lord. In biblical times, they were sent to earth to deliver the Good News, and bare witness to God's miracles, yet they were always to return to Heaven."

Emily Perez was earthly angel who was sent to deliver the Good News, and bare witness to God's miracles by the obvious way she lived her young life. The Perez family's job as earthly parents was never in vain. I didn't have the opportunity to meet her, but her life has truly touched me spiritually, and I am a better sister for having had this email sent to me.

Love you with the Love of Christ, all the way from Fairbanks, Alaska
