Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Michael Collins on October 26, 2006:

We met Amos Plebe Parent Weekend when our son was a Plebe. He was a the embodiment of what an officer should be - considerate of his subordinates. Amos went out of his way to help our son and was truly humble and self-effacing when I thanked him. I will never forget that.

I have no doubt this caring attitude carried over after commissioning into his unit with his troops. His unit and our world are greatly diminished without him. Well done, Soldier. Be thou at Peace.

Our prayers go out to Jill and Riley and the rest of his family. Amos will be in our prayers always.
