I had the privilege of getting to know Ryan when we went to RSLC together. In a class full of 50 competent guys he was the one who stood out as a straight up stud and great guy, but he wouldn't let you know it because he was so humble. He was the total package and I consider myself lucky to have met him. I'll never forget the time he bit the head off of a chicken during survival training just to make everyone laugh. I have never seen someone be so good at their job and be able to always think of their loved ones--you could tell how much he cherished his wife and friends. My thoughts and prayers go out to Haley, Rich, and all of Ryan's close friends. May it be said well done. RIP brother. |
