Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Meagan Belk on November 27, 2006:

I only knew Amos for the last year of his cadet career. He was scrambled to F3 after the "hammer scandal". I can say with confidence that it was H2's loss. We were all a little weary of the new kid in F3 and it did not take long for us to warm up to and adore Amos. I sat at the table with him most of his firstie year and I can remember laughing until my stomach hurt almost everyday.

I sincerly adore him. I lost touch with him after he graduated from West Point, but I thought of him often. He was certainly just the happiest guy. He made me happy to be around-- and that is no easy task at West Point!

Amos will be missed. I would have loved to be his soldier. I am proud to have been his friend.
