I will always remember Dave as the lighthearted, lightfooted runner that he was. I'll remember quickening my own step to catch up to him on the walk from the Cadet Area down to the track everyday ~ just for the chance to see his smile and catch a contagious dose of his optimism. Dave, thank you for being a part of so many of our lives ~ for the summers at PIAD, for the long bus rides to and from meets, and for simply being a wonderful addition to our class. You and your family will be in my prayers, and I look forward to running with you again someday. |
