Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Pete Erickson on November 28, 2006:
Dave's humility, competitiveness, and patience formed a very rare but awesome character - you could count on him to be the guy to go to any length to help or encourage you, and you knew that with whatever free time he did enjoy, it was always in the service of the things close to him - his God, his country, and his friends.
For four years, you could count on him, regardless of how busy his week may have been, or how many miles his running shoes had endured, to be in Thayer Hall's lower level on Sunday morning at 0745 as a Sunday School teacher to pre-kindergardeners. He loved being able to teach those kids the things that were important to him from the Bible. Dave knew while he lived on this earth that his real home was to come later, in heaven. Knowing that while he was here with us is what made his life very real, very powerful, and very special.
To the Fraser family: our prayers and sympathies are with you in this difficult time. In hope, however, we anticipate with joy the time we will see Dave again.
