David, I know you are in His Glory and you have touched my life, because you have been a loving brother in Christ to my son, Garrett. Your warm smile and kindness will be in my heart forever....it was the greatest to get a chance to announce your name at the West Point Invitational track meet and give you "special props"....I will keep the Baylor Track t-shirt that you gave me forever.... David's family, your son was, AND STILL IS, everything that every parents dreams of...smart, gifted, gentle, Christ-like, and a joy to all who were lucky to have met him. I anguish with you and I share your hurt, but know, David will remain forever in the hearts of great young men, just like himself. May God and loved ones hold you in their hands.
