Be Thou At Peace

| I met Dave at a Houston Parents Club picnic before we entered West Point. I will always remember that smile of his- the way his whole face smiles and his eyes shine. When the school year came around I was lucky enough to end up in the same company as Dave. Spending plebe year with him down the hall made life so much easier. He was always filled with such a positive spirit and was always willing to help a friend in need. I enjoyed going to his room just to talk because he was such a great listener. I will always remember the plane trips home to Houston with him and how much fun we all had at the Houston military ball. Dave was an inspiration to me at school, as a student, person and a Christian. He is the perfect example of a gentleman, leader, soldier, and Christian. Be thou at peace. |
