It was with great sadness that I learned of Dave's passing. Dave and I were in the same team at OBC and I have many great memories of him. Seth Chappel, Aaron Reiter, Jon Norquist, and Dave were inseparable during class and always smoked all of us on runs. Dave was always so positive. The best thing about Dave was his ability to mix his sense of humor with his incredible intelligence. I remember when I was the acting 1SG during the field and Dave was running an OP and insisted on me calling him "Mr Bigglesworth" as his callsign. He also enjoyed cooking for our classmates and smoked several pieces of meat for everyone on several occasions. Dave was an exceptional leader, but an even better friend to all. He will be missed. |
