Kevin, It has been a year and rarely a week goes by that I don't think about you. I look for your attributes in the players I coach daily. I will never find that special bond that a coach and a player gain which becomes a friendship more than a mentorship. I try to share your life with my players as you were and still are a shining example of what a player and a christian are all about. You were truly like a brother to me with many great memories. You continue to shine in my heart and in my actions. I try to instill the values you demonstrated in my the running of my club, in my teaching of the players, and in my school work. I am constantly reminding myself of your words. "Nothing in life that is rewarding is worth receiving if it is easy". Thanks for being my friend and rewarding my life. You will always be missed. G |
