I knew David Fraser in 2000 as a new cadet and a plebe. I was his beast platoon leader. He was a quiet, proficient guy, a good Christian, and a fast runner. Every few weeks I check this page to make sure none of the "kids" from my beast platoon has been killed in combat. I am very saddened that CPT Fraser is the first. I pray he is the last: from our old beast platoon, from the class of 2004, USMA, and the US military. My sincere condolences to David's parents, his family, and all who called him "friend." I am very sorry for your loss. To David's mates from Beast Barracks: I am praying for all of you. Being your PL was the best experience of my military career. You are a special group of people.
