Be Thou At Peace

Posted by A Greatful Westerner on January 23, 2007:

Thank you for your service Brian. You have made the ultimate sacrifice so that your fellow Americans and many others may live in peace. I never had the honor of knowing you, but I am so grateful for your service. I only wish it had not concluded the way that it did, but I know that you gave your life for an honorable cause and it will not be in vain.

I cannot imagine how painful this must be for Brian's family. My most heartfelt sympathies go out to you. I wish there was something we could all do to ease your pain and loss. Perhaps you can take some comfort in knowing that Brian touched the lives of many people, especially his West Point classmates who will feel his loss acutely, as will the people of Iraq who he was striving to help. He truly embodies the West Point motto of Duty, Honor, Country and will remain an inspiration to many people on both sides of the world.

God Bless and keep you in the palm of his hand, Brian and know that He will watch over your family.
