| Jake was one of the few people I've kept in touch with since attending the Basic Officer Leader Course on Fort Benning last year. He and I arrived in Iraq around the same time, and had corresponded by email on several occasions trying to see if it would be possible to meet up at some point. I'll always remember Jake for his enthusiasm, humor, and personality. Jake was the kind of guy who, once your friend, is your friend for life. As long as I live, I'll never forget his friendship. God rest his soul. |
