It was my pleasure to meet Lt. Fritz on an airplane flight from LAX to Seattle, WA last fall following the USC/Nebraska football game. I understand he was on a return trip to his unit in Alaska. I was quite impressed with the professionalism of this fine young officer and count it an honor and a privilege to have known him albeit for a short period of time. He was a true hero and served our country bravely. We owe a lot to him and those others who have paid the supreme sacrifice to help secure our freedom and that of our children and grandchildren, alike. May God grant comfort to his loved ones and rest Lt. Fritz' soul in eternity. Lincoln E. Young, (Former) Captain, United States Air Force. |
