Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Timothy Marvich on January 29, 2007:

Dearest Friends,

Our dear friend, Brian Freeman, was tragically killed in Iraq on Saturday, January 20th, 2007.

For those of us who knew him well, Brian will be remembered for his keen wit, his charming smile, and his contagious laughter. Brian was an exceptional husband, father, and friend, and he died a hero.

Charlotte and the family have asked that I convey their deepest appreciation for all of the care and support they have received over the past week. Many of you have expressed the desire to help the Freeman Family. Cards, flowers, etc. can be sent to the family address as follows:

Freeman Family

Additionally, the family has established a family trust, the BRIAN FREEMAN MEMORIAL FUND, for the benefit of Brian's wife, Charlotte, and his two young children, Gunnar (3yrs) and Ingrid (1yr). SERVICES

There will be two services for Brian. All are welcome to attend the civilian memorial service, which will be held at the Ponte Family Winery in Temecula, CA, on Thursday, February 1st at 1100. Family, military, and close friends may also attend the more formal military ceremony at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, CA, on Friday, February 2nd at 1130.

If you can contribute and/or attend, that is great, but please continue to keep the Freeman Family in your thoughts and prayers.
