My Hero, I find it hard to put in to words what you meant to me and to so many people. I have memories with you from when I was 6 years old! You are the most honorable man I have ever known. I regret not ever telling you how much you meant to me but I pray you know. As one of the soldiers said at your funeral, the sacrifice you made for us is as close as one can get to the sacrfice that Jesus made on the cross that somber day. You died so that we may live with all the freedoms that we enjoy. For this I can never thank you enough. I am so proud to have known you and I miss you terribly. But on the day the Lord calls us all home, I know I will see you again. You're home soldier. Be at peace. Love, Kara |
