I didn't have the pleasure of knowing him while we were at the Academy, but I did get to meet and hang out with Brian at the Armor Basic Course. He was always making people laugh and made the time at Fort Knox an enjoyable experience. I was saddened to hear that he was called up from the IRR from Jonathan Goza who was also called up and never did anybody expect that being called up from IRR would turn out like this... but it is a testiment to his character that he fulfilled this obligation when many would have tried to fight it. Brian will always be a "Good Dude" and will always be in my memories. My heart goes out to Brian's family. Brian, Be Thou at Peace Brother! Mike Bovan '99 |
