Be Thou At Peace

Posted by A Friend on March 15, 2007:

Amos,
I couldn't help but think of you this week, because there were definitely a few times when I could have used a dose of your special mix of sarcasm and sincerity.
I was asked by one of the other officers in my company why I had chosen West Point instead of ROTC and the opportunity to have a "real" college life. How could I explain the bonds that we share, bonds that have me sitting here re-reading the eulogies people have written about you, and all of the others from our class. I can't imagine not having been lucky enough to be a member of the Class of 2004 and thank you for sharing that with us.
God bless your family, I know they miss you. We all do.
