I was very saddened to learn of Jack's death. We were good friends as cadets but lost touch after graduation. We belonged to adjoining companies in old South Area, Jack in K-1 and me in I-1. The thing I most remember about Jack is what a great athlete he was, even amongst quite a few good athletes in our class. He could kick a football like a professional punter. He also had a great disposition and a wonderful smile. Nothing could get him down for very long. Farewell Jack; it was great to know you and to have been your friend. Mike McCormack |
