Be Thou At Peace

Posted by George Jacunski '64 on April 10, 2007:

I never met "Louie" Dosh although I heard many stories about him from his West Point roommate, my father, Edward "Jack" Jacunski. Louie was killed in one of the POW ships which the Japanese sent unmarked from the Philippines to Japan at the end of the war. Although I didn't know Louie, I did know his folks. His father Bert Dosh was the editor of the Ocala Star Banner in Ocala, Florida, and after my father's medical retirement we ended up nearby at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Consequently we were close to them for many year.
