Dear COL and Mrs. Neel, I was your son's English Instructor and sponsor while at USMA Prep. Phil, LT Dan Alix, and others would often come over to my home where we ate meals and discussed the Army. Phil's behavior whether in the class room or outside of it was always exemplary. He was the most mature and thought-oriented cadet I had ever encountered. I will be praying for you and Phil.
