Phil was my plebe as a yearling. I think I learned more in that one semester from him than anybody else taught me in a year about the army. Though I was supposed to be leading him, in his own quiet and selfless way, Phil led me. He taught be about what being a "real" Soldier was - but more than that, he shared with me his faith in God. What a solid spiritual leader his parents had made. Quiet, selfless, caring and steady - Phil shared God's word with many of his classmates and mine - without a word, just by being himself. You have impacted more lives than you know good buddy. God bless you until we meet again. Charlsey |
