Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Adam Nordin on April 15, 2007:

Phil,

You are one Man that I knew was a friend from the time I met you as a fresh, naive yearling in D-3. Sure you were a Firstie then, but you saw something in me... Over the year you taught me much about the Academy and the Army - I looked up to you man, sort of like a big brother. The only thing I could offer you was a good solid workout at the gym after sandhurst practice, but you didn't mind becuase it wasn't about quantity or payback to you...Then, after you graduated and deployed I was more than excited for you, and I could tell from your emails that you were confident and happy.

It has been an honor to have had the privelage to know you, Phil. May you rest in peace and keep us safe from above, brother.

-Adam

That a man lay down his life for his friends."
