Dear Phil, What a Resurrection Day it was for you this year! "I can only imagine' what it must have been like. We here on earth mourn at OUR loss as you were so dear to us and so many, but we rejoice in YOUR GAIN. You left a legacy in the class of '08, Phil. The plebes you led as a firstie are leading here at USMA now for the Lord and the Corps. As we host your family for your funeral we will feel you here with us. May we know how to serve in the humble way we watched you serve. OCF at West Point is richer because of YOU. See you soon. |
