Be Thou At Peace

Dezil:
Hey bud, its been well over a year since your passing. I'm in the middle of my own Iraq deployment, and I wanted to write and say how much all of us Bandits, especially the '04 and '05 guys, miss you. I remember how you and Al always had something going on at the end of the hall your firstie year. You always had something positive to say to everyone you ran into throughout the day. Your attitude was infectious.

Its amazing the kind of effect you had on all of us. We all wear bracelets in rememberance of you, and I don't know how many people I've run into the army that want to know about the bracelet and want to know what kind of man 1LT Dennis Zilinski was. It makes me very proud every time I tell your story.

I know you are looking down on all of us, especially your old drinking buddies slugging it out in Iraq and Afghanistan. We'll keep up the good fight, and see you on the high ground.

Go Bandits,
Casey
