Be Thou At Peace
Posted by The Filipek Family (2010) on April 26, 2007:
To the Family and Friends of Nicholas Rossini,
It is with sadness that we offer our condolences on your loss. There is no greater pain than to lose a child.
Your son has contributed to the family of USMA and there are many we are certain who have been influenced in some way by his presence and leadership. Your pride continues in their efforts.
When a son or daughter is accepted to West Point, there may be mixed emotions. The pride of being a part of the "Long Gray Line" and the fear of deployment into an uncertain world. Your son was taken from us much sooner but is no less a hero. Having experienced what the life of a cadet entails, Nicholas performed his duty to the Corps and those of us who hope to continue the tradition.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Hold your head high because of what your son represented not just to your family but all of us West Point Parents and families.
In sympathy,
Dottie, Rick and Erik Filipek
