I too did not personally know Jay, but had the privilege of meeting his family up north at my Sister-in-laws' cottage last summer. Sherry and Jen met though a grief class. Ralph (IV) and I had a great time together playing (He sure looks like his Daddy). My family has great memories roasting "smarsh-mallows" (a new term in our house, because of the cute way your kids pronounced it with such joy, in their cute little voices!) with our kids and yours. It was nice learning more about you, my oldest Sophie now baby-sits for Jen and has told me some stories so I wanted to see what else I could learn about the father of the kids she loves so much. I now understand why they are such great kids - great parents! Thank you so much for your sacrifice for our freedom! We will do our part, our to help Jen and your children however we can to endure and love life as it is evident you did! God Bless you and your family, Tom Stevenson |
