Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Kevin Merrigan on May 10, 2007:

We are so terribly sorry to hear of your loss. No words will ever be adequate. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family.
Although I did not know Jim as a cadet, I knew him as the Commandant of the Disciplinary Barracks at Leavenworth. He was an excellent officer, role model, husband, and father. His son, Josh, and my son, Seth, were great friends. Seth was actually the first one to learn of your loss via a text message late at night from a very tight-knit group of teenage friends.
You are in our prayers.
Kevin
