James Warren Harrison

West Point, 1981

Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Colonel (ret) Walt Chalkley on May 11, 2007:

To the families and friends of Jim Harrison - Jim touched many lives; those in his personal family, the West Point community, and the Army and Military Police Corps. I knew Jim as a Military Police battalion commander and later as the Inspector General of the Criminal Investigation Command. He was a true professional, hard-working and devoted officer and father. His personal example was one to emulate. I know that Jim was proud of his family and his service. I respected him tremendously and know that he gave the ultimate sacrifice in the cause of freedom. My wife and I extend our deepest sympathy to all of Jim's families, friends and admirers.
