Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Aunt Bev on May 24, 2007:

Kevin - you are and always will be missed and loved dearly.

I am so blessed to have you as a nephew. I often think of you and the different stages of your life and you were always such a joy to be around. Even during the stage when I would embarrass you in front of your friends to give your Aunt a hug and a kiss. This so changed when you became a young man and would pleasantly surprise us by showing up at our door, with your bright smile and freely given hugs.
I thank God for all the weekends and times Dave & I got to spend with you and Corena and only wish there could have been more. I will run across pictures here and there that will trigger some more of the many wonderful memories I have of you as a child.
You became such a courageous, humble, outstanding young man and touched more lives in your short life than most people could only dream of in a lifetime. I am more proud than I could ever express in words to have you as my nephew.
I thank you for all the interest and mentoring you showed your cousins, Andrea & Keith. (and babysitting, even though you let them get away with anything - they cherish those memories :) )
I thank you for bringing such a beautiful, wonderful and sweet person as Dana into our lives and giving me another 'niece'.
My heart pours out to Dana, Georgia, Kip and Corena the most, for the loss of their fiance, son and brother that they are so proud of, but also to all of your extended family and friends (of which you had so many) and pray for peace in all their hearts.
I thank God for telling me so clearly that you are 'Safe', when I was crying to God about how he could do this, when I continually prayed for your safety.

You will be remembered, loved and cherished forever.
