| Smoky: We used to ride home together every leave starting with plebe leave and including every Christmas leave. We spent cow summer leave at a cottage we rented at the Cape. I recall we survived several weeks on one pan of Lasagne but had to make a beer run about every other day. I lost touch with you after graduation and then you were gone. The rest of us are old men now you left in the prime of your life. Rest well my friend. |
