Be Thou At Peace

Posted by jack darrow on March 24, 2010:

I, like Jack Price, had the privilege of living above Dick's Wheelhouse offices during the last three months before Graduation. As Jack's roommate I enjoyed the atmosphere of friendly purposefulness engendered by Dick's leadership style for the staff. We all focussed on the tasks and had fun along the way, especially with Jack's zoo. Dick's upbeat personality and personal humility enabled everyone in the Corps to accomplish their jobs while enjoying a sense of coordinated individuality.

Leaders with Dick's sense of touch do not come along often. As a result few have been as uniformly loved and respected by Classmates and associates as he. I did not have the privlege of serving with Dick after graduation, but admired his compounding accomplishments and consistent good spirits from afar. I'll always be grateful for the time I shared with him. Well done friend. Thanks for being you. jack
