Ed and I were in I-2 the first two years and were scheduled for AOT during the summer prior to Cow Year. I was able to get free use of a Volkswagen bus for a few weeks during our vacation in Europe, so I asked Ed if he wanted to join me. I got to know Ed much better during that time and found him to be a wonderful person. Besides being very smart, he was just a kind, considerate, polite individual. We had a chance to review our travels during the 50th Reunion in May. Ed looked great so I was shocked to learn of his passing. Ed will be missed. I'm fortunate to have known him. |
