| As cadets we lived in the New South, went on the same weekend trip from Benning to Panama City on a rented open bed truck during the Firstie Trip with about 10 other guys. We drank a lot of beer, slept on the beach and generally had a ball doings silly things 21 year olds do. Then after Viet Nam, I read about Jack's injuries, recovery and the inspiring life he led. What spirit, determination and positive outlook on life! I will always remember that spirit, strength, smile and the sense of humor and fun. A fun, gentle bull--Jack, I will miss you.......tad |
