Joe and I both came to West Point from Nevada. We stayed in touch periodically over the years but more frequently the past couple of years. I spoke with him most recently about a week ago and, while he sounded weak, he was positive and was fighting a good fight. I am saddened to learn that he passed away but I'll always remember him fondly. |
