Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Mary Pugh on January 30, 2017:
I had the privilege of working with Frank at Nestle. We quickly became best friends. He had quite a wit and was so smart, I enjoyed being with him.
About six months into our friendship he says to me... "Mary, I need to tell you something." I said, "ok, what?"
He says... "Well, Mary... everyone at Nestle knows this except for you..... I am gay!"
Well, this was certainly a surprise to me... which he found very funny, since he had the style of a gay person. I never followed that whole gay style thing...so I was clueless. I told him, his sexual orientation was not important to me...
As time went on, we remained great friends...and one honor I had....was I was the only female he invited to his birthday party (except for his mom). I went and I was amazed at how handsome all the men were... lol.. all gay! I knew so little about the whole gay culture...but Frank was bringing me "up to speed."
I left Nestle and moved to Mexico for a few years, we stayed in touch and when I had a baby, I called him...and he was so excited about it.
Yes, Frank was a great friend. I miss him!
