34 members of the class of 1975 joined Company I-1 after beast barracks. 20 graduated. Jay embodied the spirit of this eclectic group...with an appropriate level of irreverence and aplomb... prevalent until the very end. And...he loaned me a stick and he showed me how to throw and catch a lacrosse ball in the halls of our barracks. John 15:13 says "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friend" Objective achieved. |
