Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Brandon Knox on February 13, 2006:

Garrison,

From the first day I met you I knew there was something special inside of you. From day one, I had the utmost respect for your humility, kindness, and dedication to not only yourself but others as well. Words cannot express my sincere gratitude for everything you did for me over the years. From eating dinner with me in the mess hall each week when I was a plebe to having me over at your house at Ft. Campbell this summer...The time I got to spend with you I will never forget and forever cherish. My sincere condolences go out to the Avery family along with Kayla and her family. Thank you for all you have done for me as well. May you now rest in peace and thank you Sir for making the ultimate sacrifice.

"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends."
-John 15:13
