Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Caulyne Barron on February 15, 2006:

Kayla,

I feel as though this is one of the few times I haven't been at your side since that night. And then I sit back and realize it IS one of the few times... hehe. My couch seems foreign. It has been my pleasure and my honor to be there for you as you move through this difficult time.

I did not have the chance to get to know Garrison-- but as I have told you so many times, if he was half the person that you are, and from what I have heard from so many, he was, then the world has suffered such a loss. I know that all of those that met him will take his strength and his drive and his purpose forward and continue to touch others in Garrison's name.

I promise to be here whenever you need me. We are all a sorry subsitute for him. But, I'm here for you. In any way I can.

Because if the roles had been reversed, you would have done all of this and more for me.

Love you kiddo,
Caulyne
