Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Marshall McGurk on February 26, 2006:

This one hits really hard for me and for many. To Gary's wife and family, you will be in my constant prayers. I can't imagine the pain you have been through but I am grieving for the loss of such a fine man.

Garrison was in my plebe year company at school. He was a very special person. He always was a top performer, setting the example in just about every area of cadet performance. He was also selfless, and spent many an hour with those of us who struggled to get by at West Point. He was always willing to lend an ear to hear about our complaints, our problems, our frustrations. He was one of the most solid and upright men I have ever known. He is greatly missed.

Gary, I hope to see you in heaven above, in that land beyond the sky......
