Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Scott & Allison Lesak on February 28, 2011:
Dear Hidalgo Family:
My husband and I were both in attendance on the day that Daren was pinned down by the Hudson River in front of Trophy Point on graduation day with Mark Lesak (Daren's good friend and roommate at West Point), my husband's brother. I remember meeting your son and he was so full of life, vivacious and had the biggest most wonderful smile. I still have some wonderful photos of that moment that will be forever etched in Mark's West Point Graduation scrapbook, and we will look at Daren's picture and always remember the sacrifice he made.
Both my husband and I would like to give you our sincere and heartfelt condolences at the loss of a wonderful man and soldier for our Army, he will always be remembered and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. May God help heal your hearts, know that Daren is safe with Him and that he was called home to be in a much greater kingdom where you will meet him again.
God Bless you all at this time, you are in our prayers!
CPT & Mrs. Scott Lesak
