Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Carolyn Claus on November 5, 2011:

I loved my father-in-law! He was a very generous man. We were able to spend time together as an extended family because of his hard work as a young man. He was able to afford taking all of us on a cruise, all the family reunions, grandchildren's college (unbelievable), Maria's extended care, etc. Yet, he still was able to travel himself, but lived with very little so others could have a very good life!

Your Dad was amazing! This was his way of showing his love for his family. He gave you all a Catholic education and a religious foundation -- so admirable!

I hope he knew how much I loved him even with the break from the family.

He taught us all so many traits -- I hope he knew that.

He did a great job in this life!

His daughter-in-law,
Carolyn
