| I've known Jerry since the beginning of plebe year up until a last phone conversation a few days before his untimely death. No one ever had a better friend, or a better classmate. One had only to see the love, affection and sadness expressed at his funeral by his family, his friends and neighbors from Lafayette and College Station, his classmates, and those who had served with him during his Army career to understand that this truly was one of the good guys. Well done, Jerry, be thou at peace. We'll miss you! |
